M100 Fund re-balanced for 791branko

Below are my fund holdings.

I am betting on a fiscal cliff aversion. Wealthy dems & republicans have too much personal wealth at stake to let this one go over. I am looking for a strong market run-up this month.

My fund has performanced sluggishly over the last few months. ACAD has made my overall numbers look good, it popped last week gaining 130% in a day.

My fund's YTD return is 20.5% and I am holding the # 1 and #2 rankings for Healthcare Funds 2 & 3 year returns.

M100 Stock Holdings - Marketocracy.com

Belowe are my latest holdings.
My fund has returned 5.04% this quarter a little behind the S&P500's 7.75%. Its been a rough quarter for Healthcare stocks in general.
I have changed my fund by reducing my Healthcare positions and initiating Gold positions (RIC & KGC).

My Fund is now ranked #6 Overall for 2year returns. I need a boost in returns in the next week or so to hold my elite ranking.

Stock Portfolio - rebalance (M100)

It has been a bruising last few weeks for my fund. I am down over 5% for this quarter.
I combination of factors have caused my fund's recent slide; news of poor drug test results, general market debt worries, and also news of operational problems.

So I have made changes to hopefully stem the bleeding. I have sold some of my problem stocks and increased both my cash & negative positions. I am keeping my small oil positions as the busy end of hurricane season is nearing and the Iranian government has started barking again so oil prices may see upward pressure shortly.

M100 Portfolio Change - added EPV & PCYC

I remain negative about the current market condition. I have used my cash position to buy into a short EFT (Europe) position and I also bought a medical stock to maintain my fund's sector compliance.

US stocks turning negative - increasing my cash

The Nasdaq, a leading market indicator, is at the point of crossing below its 50 day moving average suggesting stocks may be heading south.

The change in market sentiment is probably due to concerns about high global debts (especially spain & greece). This high debt issue is a legit concern and has the potential to drag global markets down and quickly.

I plan to reduce my portfolio's risk to the markets by increasing my cash position to about 35%. Should the markets continue moving down then I will consider buys short etfs.

I sold my BAYRY and JAZZ positions last night (18/04/12).

M100 portfolio rebalance for 2nd Qtr

I have made a small change to my portfolio because I am reasonably happy with its performance.
Last quarter my fund increased in value by 15.21%.

I have sold off my ETP position and added two positions in DVAX & AMRN.

I have reduced my portfolio's exposure to oil because I don't think oil prices are likely to increase in the short term. Iran and US have stopped barking so this should cool oil prices.

I have bought two biotech positions: DVAX is a strong momentum play, AMRN is an old favorite of mine. AMRN have had a rough run lately but they appear to have turned the corner.

The general US economy is bubbling along nicely right now that's why I am fully invested. However I think there is a significant risk the economy could quickly swing south (unresolved debt issues) so I am ready to sell-off if required.
