Damo continues to lead the comp with a 36.2% return. Not bad considering the comp is not even a month old.
I am ranked just outside the Leaderboard in 103rd position, returning just over 15%.
Gold and silver miners dominate the market this month.
If you want to join the party get into these stocks: mml, ncm, nst, pru, and slr. These stocks will likely continue to surge as the geopolitical situation worsens in the middle east.

ASX Competition Game 2 - update 16/08/2013
Two and half weeks into the comp sees Materials/Gold Sector investers leading the way. This sector has come to life after a miserable 8 months or so. It will be interesting to see whether this Gold's sharp positive move turns out to be a dead cat bounce.
I have 3 material positions which am planning to hold for the short term. May move into some cash positions next week if we see more market weekness.
The overall leader is Damo from Queensland with an 18% return. I am ranked 236th with a 6.4% return. The average investor is up a little over 1%.
Hot stocks so far include: SLR, SIR, ASL, & BKN
National performance summary
Your portfolio value was $53,195.52
Total number of ranked players 6431
Your ranking was 236
Average player value $50,502.04

ASX Competition - Stock Shortlist, August 2013
Below is my stock shortlist.
I ran my "Krstevski Screen" over the entire competition stock list (over 120). The list below is what popped out. I look for stocks with strong positive price movement.
If you want a chance at winning the comp I suggest you start with buying 4 or 5 equally weighted positions. Less diversification equals more risk but also higher return possibilities, the is no second prize in this comp.
Good luck, the comp starts this Wednesday.

New positions for my M10/M100 Fund
ISIS
PRSC

BIOS
I used my big cash position to add these stocks into my Fund.
I am feeling positive about the general market again. Am invested fully with micro value positions.
Should the market turn South I may feel a lot of hurt.

My M10 & M100 Marketocracy Fund (791branko) - updated
Below are my current holdings.
Quarter2 has been terrific for my fund, returning over 19%. My YTD return is over 51%.
I am more optimistic about the state of our market. It's bubbling along resiliently and I do not see a major danger in the near term (apart from summer being traditionally a weak period for the market).
The general market has very quickly turned negative (stimulas easying announcement, options expiry), am I feeling a little embarrased! Absent of a significant market rally by mid next week I will be reducing my positions (updated 21st June).
I am fully invested in Heathcare stocks with a large position in ACAD.
As always, if the broad market shows signs of weakness I'll reshape my fund.
My Fund is now part of Marketocracy's elite M10 Index and it still features in their M100 Index.
Marketocracy is about to publish their end of 2013 Q1 rankings. My Fund will be shown as ranked #1 for 3 year returns and #5 for 2 year returns. The link below shows my 5 year return.

I hope to shortly overtake Justin Uyehara for the #1 ranking in 5 year returns of the "Top Ranked Funds".
